The Shakespeare Ugly Stik GX2 is the latest version of the now classic 'Ugly Stick' and it combines the legendary virtually unbreakable Howald Process blank with modern design and styling to produce a very nice boat fishing rod.
The rod is very well finished with AO guides throughout, Ergonomically shaped EVA handle, quality screw winch and the now classic Ugly Stik diamond whipping. The rod is supplied in a high quality rod bag.
The 12/20lb class is a lovely light rod which is perfect for bream, flatties, light inshore drifting etc. The tip is sensitive enough to show tiny bites and blends progressively into a more powerful lower end which can handle decent fish with ease.
